A message from Kate Manners - Managing Director

Well, who would have thought we would still be talking about Covid nearly 20 months later? What a trying time for us all. Firstly, I would like to send my best wishes to you all at this (my favourite, did you guess?) time of year and I hope that this year hasn’t been too difficult for any of you?

I would also like to thank my staff for their continuous hard work during another disrupted year and facing the daily challenges with positivity and enthusiasm. The David Manners Group really is that, a group of people all playing their own equally important parts and without them the company cannot succeed so I thank them for working with myself and the managers to get us through the past year.

Despite Brexit and the Covid challenge, we have much to look forward to on the horizon. We have a new website to be launched (hopefully) by the summer. Being now VAT registered in six European countries we hope to be able to get back to business as normal (Pre Brexit) in these regions in the coming months and we look forward to continuing our close relationships with the owners clubs.

A big thank you goes out to the club secretaries and organisers who help us get the message out there, and encourage their members to take part in our competitions. We have very much felt the passion of the owners and have loved seeing photos of their beautiful cars this year.

For those of you who are wondering about Dad (David Manners) he is still very much part of the company but works from home now. I still have much to learn from him and he is of course a very valuable part of the team and so my final thank you is to him, for trusting me these last two years to run his company and (sometimes) letting me make my own decisions!

COUNTER

With our shop counter currently closed we are committed to keeping our staff and customers safe. We have revisited our risk assessment in line with Government rules in and have concluded we are still not able to open the counter at this time.

Counter Service will remain unavailable until we reassess in February 2021. Due to the layout of the car park and offices we are sadly not able to offer a click and collect service as an alternative.

CHRISTMAS CLOSURE DATES

We will be closing for the festive period from 5.30pm on Thursday 23rd December and will re-open on Tuesday 4th January at 9.00am.
Please note - Web orders will not be processed during the closure dates.
